Since its inception in 1999, the NSPCC Milton Keynes Half Marathon has gone from strength to strength in all respects - the number of runners taking part, the quality of facilities provided and the level of funds raised.
In 2007 almost 1,500 runners entered and over £50,000 was raised towards the NSPCC's valuable work with local children and families.
After a week of appalling weather, we were extremely fortunate to have perfect conditions on the day for runners, volunteers and supporters alike.
