The NSPCC exists to end cruelty to children and has a vision of a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential.
By supporting the 10th NSPCC Milton Keynes Half Marathon, you are helping to raise vital funds which allow us to continue to provide and develop the services that support children, young people and their families at difficult times in their lives. We rely heavily on the support of the local community to fund vital services, with 87 per cent of the work that we do made possible by voluntary donations. As well as these local services, our 24-hour NSPCC and ChildLine helplines are both there to take calls from concerned adults and children in your community.
Over the past nine years this event has raised over £210,000 of much needed funds that have made a real difference for children. This fantastic event is organised by a group of dedicated volunteers and their helpers who give freely of their time and commitment to support the work of the NSPCC. In addition, every year key local organisations sponsor this event, both financially and by donating services and goods – the NSPCC is so grateful to them for all their support.
Please take on the challenge of running this special half marathon, safe in the knowledge that there will be children who have a brighter future thanks to your support.
